Strand Beach

Today was a morning of church for most kids and an afternoon of beach for everyone. It was very windy. Families explained that Strand Beach, which is quite far from Cape Town, was where Coloured people came to have a picnic and play on Sundays. Of all the things that were segregated during apartheid, beaches were one of the most segregated, thus the distance from Cape Town.
