Photos from Another Mississippi Worksite

From Kathleen O’Neal, Religion Department

These photos are from our worksite at 230 Jefferson in Clarksdale, MS.  This house was previously a Habitat house in a Habitat neighborhood (actually just three houses down from our Habitat dorm), that is now being rehabbed.  When we started working here on Monday the house not only still had walls, but also a full kitchen and bathroom.  In fact, the first thing we did was empty the house of furniture.  A lot of progress has been made by our small group (Ben ’14, Ella ’15, John ’15, and Max ’15) over the last four days.  The city should pick up all the drywall and cabinets we’ve pulled out of the house tomorrow so today our group posed in front of the pile triumphantly.
